Collaborative for Engineering Education Research & Outreach

Mission: The Collaborative for Engineering Education Research & Outreach (CEERO) at the University of Arizona is a cross-college, interdisciplinary network of faculty, staff, and students to pursue and promote research related to engineering education. 

CEERO aims to,

• Advance research related to equity-centered practices in postsecondary engineering education and related fields

• Support the translation of research-to-practice in engineering education and related fields

• Prepare students for research and engineering careers through evidence-based training programs

History: The Collaborative was initiated in 2016 and formally established in Fall of 2017 with support from the College of Engineering leadership. Today, CEERO serves as an extramurally-funded hub for educational research as well as the local chapter of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
